The --with-maintenance-mode parameter enables or disables the maintenance mode feature. It does not cause maintenance mode to be active or inactive. If set to 'true', then allow the maintenance mode to be used. Otherwise, ignore all requests to place the server in maintenance mode. The default setting is 'true'.

Client protocols cannot activate maintenance mode. This parameter can prevent internal server instrumentation from working properly. Use with caution.

The --with-maintenance-mode parameter can be set via the command line when booting netconfd-pro:

user@system> netconfd-pro --with-maintenance-mode=false

or configured in netconfd-pro's configuration file, usually /etc/yumapro/netconfd-pro.conf:

#
#### leaf maintenance-mode
# If set to 'true', then allow the maintenance mode
# to be used. Otherwise, ignore all requests to place
# the server in maintenance mode. The default is true.
