yp-shell is the embedded CLI for the netconfd-pro server. Users of YumaPro SDK can turn yp-shell on or off with the

--with-yp-shell parameter. If the --with-yp-shell parameter for netconfd-pro is set to "true" then the YP-SHELL protocol will be enabled. Otherwise, the YP-SHELL protocol will not be enabled. The incoming connection will be dropped if the protocol is disabled. The default value is "true".

The --with-yp-shell parameter can be applied via the command line when booting netconfd-pro:

user@system> netconfd-pro --with-yp-shell=false

or configured in the /etc/yumapro/netconfd-pro.conf file:

#### leaf with-yp-shell
#
# If set to 'true', then the YP-SHELL protocol will be
# enabled. Otherwise, the YP-SHELL protocol
# will not be enabled. The incoming connection will be
# droped if the protocol is disabled.
#
# with-yp-shell true
