The log-append parameter can only be used if the log parameter is also present.

If the log-append parameter is present, the log specified by the log parameter

will be appended to and not over-written. If log-append is not present, the specified

log will be over-written. By default log-append is not present. 

The log-append parameter can be invoked via the command line:

user@system>netconfd-pro --log=filespec --log-append

or configured in the /etc/yumapro/netconfd-pro.conf file:

#### leaf audit-log-append
#   If  present,  the  audit log will be appended not over-written.
# The default is to not append (leaf not present)
