The audit-log-candidate parameter for netconfd-pro dictates whether transactions to the candidate datastore will be recorded in the audit log.

If set to "true", then transactions to the candidate datastore will be recorded in the audit log.

If "false", then transactions to the candidate datastore will not be recorded in the audit log.

The default is "true".

This parameter is only used in combination with the audit-log parameter.

The --audit-log-candidate parameter can be set via the command line when booting netconfd-pro:

user@system> netconfd-pro --audit-log=/tmp/netconfd-pro-audit.log --audit-log-candidate=false

or configured in the /etc/yumapro/netconfd-pro.conf file:

#### leaf audit-log-candidate
#
# If true, then transactions to the candidate datastore
# will be recorded in the audit log.
#
# If false, then transactions to the candidate datastore
# will not be recorded in the audit log.";
#
# audit-log-candidate true
audit-log-candidate false
